The S5 Permanent key lock box is a very effective method of restricting key usage to specific personnel.
Like it's brothers, the S5 a very rugged, safe like key box with heavy thick walls, and an almost indestructible door. The S5 features the same mechanical push-button lock as all members of the KeySafe family, meaning that the combination is easily changed at your discretion. And no batteries are required, either.
As a policy for all Kidde Keysafe products, we suggest that you keep your combination to 4 or 5 numbers. Too many or too few are fairly easy to guess.
But remember - the biggest drawback to all KeySafe lock boxes is the combination. Do Not Loose It! There is no magic 'factory reset' button.

An optional protective cover is available to keep the faceplate clean if it will be exposed to dirt or weather.
