The Slimline key lock box, like it's brothers, is a very rugged, vault like key box with very thick walls, and an almost indestructible door (it is almost 1/2 inch thick). The lock is push-button mechanical - no batteries to worry about - and the combination is easily changed at your discretion.
As a policy for all Kidde Keysafe products, we suggest that you keep your combination to 4 or 5 numbers. Too many or too few are fairly easy to guess.
The biggest drawback to all KeySafe lock boxes is the combination. Do Not Loose It! There is no magic 'factory reset' button.
